How do I read a challenge screen and the leaderboard?

Updated on September 30th, 2026

Each challenge has its own screen, which you open from the Challenges tab (Défis). At the top, you see the challenge status and dates, its description and the number of participants. The sections below vary with the type of challenge.

Progress

The Progress section (Progression) shows how far along the goal is: for example active minutes, trees planted, donations accumulated, or the progress of teams or companies. The exact metric depends on the challenge.

Bonus

Some challenges offer a Bonus: an extra goal with its own progress.

Details

The Details section (Détails) shows the challenge goal and, where applicable, the partner organization.

Podium

The Podium shows the top three. Before the challenge starts, the message "Le podium s'affichera dès le début du défi" (the podium will appear once the challenge begins) is shown instead.

My team or My company

In a team challenge, My team (Mon équipe) shows your team. In an inter-company challenge, My company (Mon entreprise) shows your organization.

Activity points

The Activity points section (Points d'activité) shows the participation points the challenge earns you. See how activity points work.

Map

Some collective goal challenges offer a Map button, next to Leaderboard (Classement). It shows group progress on an illustrated route.

Leaving the challenge

The Leave the challenge link (Quitter le défi) is at the very bottom of the screen. See How do I leave a challenge, and what happens to my points?.

Reading the leaderboard

Tap Leaderboard at the bottom of the challenge screen.

  • Tabs: Teams (Équipes) and Individual (Individuel) in a team challenge; Companies (Entreprises) and Individual in an inter-company challenge.
  • Your position: at the top, you see the number of participants, teams or companies, along with your position.
  • Your row: it is highlighted so you can spot it easily.
  • Filter: in Individual for a team challenge, a drop-down list shows your team, all participants or another team.
  • Before it starts: until an activity is recorded, the message "Le classement s'affichera automatiquement dès le premier enregistrement d'activité" (the leaderboard will appear automatically once the first activity is recorded) is shown.

For how organizations are compared, see How is the ranking calculated in an inter-company challenge?. Points not showing? Your data arrives when you open Propulsion; see why your points might be missing.
