Walking together against breast cancer
For 21 days in October, your organization mobilizes for a cause that affects millions of families. Every step counts, every employee contributes, and the collective goal translates into a real donation to a breast cancer organization.
Pink October is more than a ribbon. It's a global movement of solidarity, awareness, and action. By participating as an organization, you show your employees that the company stands for causes that go beyond the workplace.
How it works
Your organization sets a collective step goal and a proportional donation commitment. Every employee logs their daily steps through the Propulsion app. The dashboard displays real-time progress. When the goal is reached, the donation is made to the organization chosen by your committee.
Why steps?
In October, the weather cools down but walking remains accessible to everyone. It's the simplest, most inclusive, and most natural form of physical activity. No equipment needed, no athletic background required. Every walk to work, every staircase, every lunch break stroll becomes an act of solidarity.
The cause effect
When steps are tied to a cause, motivation shifts. It's no longer just "I move for my health" — it's "I move for someone." Employees who wouldn't join a regular fitness challenge show up for a cause. Participation rates soar when the impact goes beyond individual wellness.
Visible impact
At the end of the challenge, the results are concrete: a real number of steps taken, a real donation made, and an organization proud to have stood up for a shared cause. That's the kind of moment that defines a company culture.
