For your steps, connect Apple Health (iPhone), Samsung Health (Samsung) or Google Health with the Fitbit connector (other Android). The phone’s pedometer is a last resort: on Android, it only counts while Propulsion is open. For a workout, tap “Add an activity” on the Propulsion home screen (see how).
See all connectionsThe Google Pixel Watch works with Android only: it doesn't pair with an iPhone. Its data goes through the Google Health app (formerly Fitbit) and Propulsion's Fitbit connector.
Connecting
- In Propulsion, tap your avatar at the top left, then Settings (the gear at the top right), then Activity tracking.
- Tap Connect next to Fitbit.
- Sign in with the Google account your watch uses.
- Check every data category, then accept.
Connect only one source at a time: if Google Fit or the pedometer was already connected, disconnect it first.
What gets shared
Propulsion receives your steps and the activities recorded by the watch. Steps count toward active challenges.
Sync
For now, your data syncs when you open Propulsion. Open the app at least once a day, and before a challenge ends, so all your activity counts.
If nothing shows up
- First open the Google Health app so the watch syncs your data there.
- Check that your steps or your workout are there. If they aren't, Propulsion can't receive them.
- Then open Propulsion.
- Still nothing? Check that you used the same Google account in the Google Health app and in Propulsion, then disconnect and reconnect Fitbit in Activity tracking.
For a workout that wasn't captured, tap Add an activity on the home screen (see how).
