How do I use COROS with Propulsion?
COROS doesn't connect to Propulsion directly. On iPhone, your data goes through Apple Health. On Android, it goes through Health Connect.
On iPhone
- In the COROS app, tap Profile > Settings > Third-party apps > Data sync > Apple Health, and turn syncing on. If needed, see COROS's official help.
- In Propulsion, tap your avatar at the top left, then Settings (the gear at the top right), then Activity tracking. Tap Connect next to Apple Health, then accept every permission requested.
On Android
COROS works with Propulsion on Android through Health Connect. Your steps and your workouts come into Propulsion.
- In the COROS app settings, look for the Health Connect option and turn it on. Allow sharing of steps and workouts.
- In Propulsion, tap your avatar at the top left, then Settings (the gear at the top right), then Activity tracking. Tap Connect next to Health Connect, then allow Propulsion to read your steps and workouts.
- To check, in Health Connect, open your activity data: COROS should show up as a source for your steps and workouts.
On Android 14 and up, Health Connect is built into the phone: search for "Health Connect" in your phone's Settings. On Android 13 and below, install the Health Connect app from the Play Store, then open it. If both COROS and your phone count your steps, put COROS first in the source order (see how).
COROS doesn't show up in Health Connect? Your phone can count your steps itself through Health Connect (Android 14 and up): connect Health Connect in Propulsion the same way (see how). On a Samsung phone, you can also connect Samsung Health. See also what to do if an app is missing from Health Connect.
A workout doesn't come through Health Connect? Tap the + button at the bottom right of the Propulsion screen (see how).
What gets shared
On iPhone, COROS sends your steps and distances to Apple Health, and Propulsion reads them from there. On Android, Propulsion reads your steps and workouts from Health Connect. Connect only one source at a time.
For now, your data syncs when you open Propulsion. Open the app at least once a day, and before a challenge ends, so all your activity counts.
If nothing shows up
- Open the COROS app so it can sync your data.
- Check that your data shows up in Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android).
- In Apple Health, check that Propulsion is allowed to read your data, and that COROS is allowed to write to it. On Android, in Health Connect, open the app permissions, choose Propulsion and allow steps and workouts (exercise).
- Reopen Propulsion.
